📖 Reading
How do I read manga on NovaManga?
Simply browse or search for a manga title, click on it to view the series page, then select a chapter to start reading. You can navigate between pages using arrow keys, swipe gestures, or the on-screen buttons.
What reading modes are available?
We offer three reading modes: Long Strip (scroll vertically), Single Page (one page at a time), and Double Page (two pages side by side). Change modes using the settings icon in the reader.
Can I change the reading direction?
Yes! Go to reader settings and choose between RTL (right-to-left, for manga) or LTR (left-to-right, for manhwa/manhua). Your preference will be saved automatically.
How do I zoom in on images?
On mobile, double-tap the image to zoom. On desktop, use the zoom toggle button in the reader toolbar or use your browser's zoom function (Ctrl + / Ctrl -).
Can I change the background color while reading?
Yes! The reader offers three background options: Dark (default), Light, and Cream/Sepia. Select your preference in the reader settings.

How do I bookmark a manga?
Click the bookmark icon on any manga page. The manga will be added to your personal library, accessible from the Library button in the navigation.
Where are my bookmarks saved?
Bookmarks are saved in your browser's localStorage. This means they're stored on your device and won't be lost if you clear cookies, but they won't sync across devices.
Can I organize my library?
Yes! Your library has tabs for All, Reading, Completed, and Plan to Read. You can also search and filter within your library.
Why did my bookmarks disappear?
Bookmarks are stored locally in your browser. They may be lost if you clear browser data, use private/incognito mode, or switch devices. We recommend keeping track of your favorites.

We offer manga (Japanese), manhwa (Korean), and manhua (Chinese) across all genres including Action, Romance, Fantasy, Comedy, Drama, and more.
How often are new chapters added?
New chapters are added daily as soon as they become available. Popular series are updated within hours of their official release.
Can I request a specific manga?
Yes! Use our Contact Form with the subject "Content Request" and include the manga name, author, and any relevant details.
Why are some chapters missing?
Chapters may be missing if they haven't been released yet by the original publisher, or if there are licensing restrictions. Check back regularly for updates.

Yes! NovaManga is completely free to use. You can read all available content without any subscription or payment.
Do I need to create an account?
No account is required. All features including bookmarks, reading history, and preferences work without registration using your browser's local storage.
Why aren't images loading?
Try these steps: 1) Check your internet connection. 2) Clear your browser cache. 3) Disable ad blockers for our site. 4) Try a different browser.
Can I use NovaManga on my phone?
Absolutely! NovaManga is fully optimized for mobile devices. We also have a bottom navigation bar for easy access to all features on smaller screens.
How do I enable dark mode?
Click the moon/sun icon in the header to toggle between dark and light themes. Your preference will be saved automatically.
